Looking out from my window, Manhattan can be seen in the distance, like a sheet reflecting the colors of the sky, and at sunset it glows with a vivid magenta that gradually fades, making way for the lights that trace the skyline at night. I thought of New York nights while creating this series of block prints from the desire to make them my own.
